Arun Valley Hydropower will distribute a 10 percent dividend from last year's earnings. A meeting of the company's board of directors held on August 16 proposed to distribute 10 percent bonus shares to investors and 0.526 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The company has also proposed to issue 50 percent rights shares after the bonus.
The company has convened its 24th annual general meeting on September 8 to distribute dividends. Shareholders will receive the proposed dividend once it is passed by the meeting. The company has stated that the book close date is on September 26 for the purpose of dividend distribution.
