IPO distribution of Mahila Laghubitta, 10 kitta share alloted to lucky 37,500 applicants, one million four hundred ninety-nine thousand applicant are not alloted

The IPO of Mahila Laghubitta has been distributed at 8 am on Friday. Of these, 37,500 public investors have acquired shares at 10 kitta through a lottery. Out of a total of 1.54 million applications, 3,353 applications have been rejected, said issue manager Nepal SBI Merchant Banking. The last day for women microfinance to apply for the initial public offering (IPO) was on 17 Feb.

 Laghubitta had issued 400,000 ordinary shares at the face value of Rs 100 per share, equivalent to Rs 40 million, which is 40 percent of the issued capital.

 Out of the total shares issued, 0.5 percent of the issued share i.e. 5,000 shares have been allotted to the employees. Similarly, 5 percent i.e. 20,000 shares have been allotted for mutual funds. The general public had opened applications for the remaining 375,000 ordinary shares.
